Mutated fish appear with a random chance in every part of the map. There is no weather event required right now. You can find mutations even while staying behind the buoy line, which is useful when you want safer tsunami exposure.

Practical spawn notes:

• Near harbor / buoy: Silver and Gold still appear; good for early bankrolls.
• Farther ocean: rarer base fish plus better Rainbow odds according to community reports.
• Admin Abuse Event: strong window for rare Rainbow-mutated catches when Smoothly Sailing runs one — watch the group wall and Updates.

Do not confuse Claw Fishing mutations with rod-and-bait systems from other Roblox fishing games. Here you still drive a boat and lower a claw — the mutation only changes the fish’s value, not the grab input.

How to catch a mutated fish
